This weekend we will be having our Winter Family Camp-out at John Prince Park in Lake Worth. (Approx. 45 minutes from Coral Springs / Parkland) The cost of the camp-out is $3.00 per person per night. We will be finalizing our agenda during our Pack Planning Meeting this Tuesday and will send out more details on Wednesday. We are planning to do S'mores, a Bike trail trip (helmets req.), go fishing and play some outdoor basketball to name a few things.
On Saturday, starting at 4 pm we will have our Blue & Gold Celebration which celebrates 89 years of scouting. This ceremony will begin with a Pack Barbecue, each Den will provide its own hot dogs, burgers, etc and we will cook and eat as a pack. We will also be doing an Advancement Ceremony and awarding rack patch's and conducting a flag retirement ceremony among other things.
